I really felt like these were the lightest earbuds I have ever worn and used. I barely felt that they were in my ear and I rarely had any discomfort after listening for a few hours. And like most of earbuds before this one, the cables usually suck and they wear out very easily which is a problem. But with the Airbuds I noticed that the structure of the cable is far stronger and it feels better. Another thing I liked about the cable is that it`s tangle free which means I wont have to fight with the earbuds to get them untangled and that just takes away a lot of time because I have bigger fingers. You just take them out of your pocket and they are ready to go. The sound is beyond great for me because I`m not much of an audiophile and the biggest thing I care about is that bass being exported from these earbuds, and the bass was perfect not too muddy but a overall tight a warm bass. They highs and mids also flowed very well even though you could prominently hear the bass.

Like many, I read about these little wonders over at Wired and decided to give them a shot. The first night I had them, I wound up listening to music for a couple of hours, switching from genre to genre and marveling at how crisp and precise everything sounded. These are simply amazing for the price.

    – Hugely clean, immersive sound for under 20 bucks (!)
    – triangle-shaped cord makes it so they don’t get twisted up (take note, Apple!)
    – They look cool enough in red and black
    – Comes with 3 sized of ear gels in the box

    – You hear “chuffing” sounds if you move the cord around (not a big deal for desk or commute, but could stink for working out)
    – You really have to jam them in your ears to get the full sound, and I have to use ear gels that are a little too big for my ears (the smaller ones fit better, but the bass response goes flat).

All things considered, you should have already clicked “Add to Cart” by now – it’s likely the best 20 bucks you can spend for truly excellent audi

Very bright, lacking bass. By golly, those wires will not tangle.

The buds sound pretty good, but after all I had read about them I had expected more I guess. Highs, lows and midrange all sound ok, but nothing to get too excited about.

Love these and the mic works great. After breaking them in they work very well. I’ve worn them in the gym and the rain with no problems. Flat strong cables, that do not tangle. The V1S has better sound, but a horrible one button mic with very bad voice capture. No problems whatsoever on this model.
